This special session has a tight grip on my heart. I have so much love for these two, and the fact I was chosen to be there blows me away.

One day Kevin came home from work and said “hey I have someone who may be reaching out to you for photos. His wife is pregnant.” “Okay….so am I doing maternity? Newborn, what?” “I don’t know babe, I just gave him your website and he said he would have his wife reach out.” Ah, men. […]

Meet Bethany & Joe! These two were referred to me from a previous client (who was recently featured on this blog)! Whenever a previous client refers someone to me, I do a happy dance! It means I have previously made a connection and gave a wonderful experience. I was informed that these two would be […]

Are you guys ready for this? I mean, seriously. These two have the TIGHTEST grip on my heart and I am SO beyond honored with the friendship I share with them. This post is so portrait heavy because I COULD NOT CHOOSE my favorites. I met Trista in February of 2020. She answered my plea […]

My poor girls. They are SO over my constant need to have portraits of them. I drag them out all of the time to get “new” photos. I promise, someday they will be SO happy they have all of these memories. As a new season appears, I have to get their fall portraits. I am […]

You guys may remember my lifestyle session with the Rovner Family in May. This time, Sarah wanted a family session! My schedule was so busy, but of course I had to see this sweet family again. I absolutely adore this family. They are so funny and generous, and go with the flow. We met at […]

I met Mercedes and Ryland two years ago at a group of my fall minis! They were eloping and wanted to do a “first look” during their mini session to get some classic wedding photos. We had a lot of fun laughing and talking. They are such a sweet couple I was thrilled when Mercedes […]

Kevin and I were married in Charleston, South Carolina in 2014. We absolutely love everything about it! We fell in love with the history, climate, beauty, hospitality and food the first time we visited in January 2013. We try to make a point to visit once a year, but sometimes that just isn’t possible. The […]

Kevin went back to Germany in April, and the girls and I stayed in Illinois. We counted down the days until we would be back together! Military separations are hard and often it is missing the important days, birthdays, holidays, anniversaries. Kevin and I made a plan to reunite two different times during our five […]

Hello sweet Kondrath family! The Kondrath’s are some of my military clients that I met through another wonderful military client. This is my third time working with them and they are always such a joy to photograph. The first time I worked with the Kondrath family, Owen was about 6 months old and he JUST […]

Whenever I am able, I LOVE to turn moments into lasting memories. For me, especially as a mom who cannot believe how fast the last five years have gone, it is so special to freeze time as much as I can. I truly believe my clients want the same thing. Sure, that perfect photo for […]

fall in love with me

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera...they are made with the eye, heart & head."
-Henri Cartier- Bresson

Hi! I am Brenda, the woman behind the camera. I will excitedly wave to you and shout "hey!" as soon as we meet, and I will act like we have been friends forever. I will talk and laugh with you through the duration. Your semi-reluctant photo companion will even tell you at the end of our session that is wasn't so bad after all! I started Brenda Price Photography in 2018 after my second daughter was born. Photography has been a lifelong love of mine, but it took until I saw firsthand how fleeting the moments were that I truly worked to learn what I loved. I always begged my parents for disposable cameras as a kid. I filled those camera rolls in about 5 minutes of all of my treasured things. I always took photos of my friends, pets, flowers, siblings- whoever would let me! Now as I have a family of my own, I take endless portraits of them.

I love to take portraits of the big moments and the small moments. I have a tendency of grabbing photos of moments you may not have noticed were happening. I love to tell a story in my portraits. A love story. YOUR love story. No matter who it is with, how many people are involved, it is all worth documenting. Time does go by so fast and it is worth an investment in quality portraits, because before long- photos are all that will remain of a chapter of your life. You will not be a jittery, emotional bride again. Pregnancy only lasts nine months, and a newborn changes in a blink of an eye. Your kids will loose teeth, skin knees and grow to your height in no time. Your parents will age and leave you. You will never regret having photos of your loved ones and beautiful memories captured.
