This is the third time I was able to work with the Calvert family. The very first time I worked with them, they were a family of three, with number four on the way. Andrea reached out to schedule a maternity session. She was pregnant with Miss Penelope (Poppy) and Olivia (Ivy) was just a sweet toddler!
I worked with them a second time shortly after Poppy was born for a fall family mini session. I can’t believe that was before the world shut down for Covid. It seems so long ago now to think about, but really just two short years!
This time, Andrea wanted to have the first session as a family of five! Baby Caden was born in March and I was so excited to get to meet him in real life instead of just oohing over his cuteness on instagram!
We met on Andrea’s birthday in Boulder. We wandered up the trails looking for the best light. As usual, they were dressed so fabulously. Andrea has the BEST style. I absolutely adored their outfits.
As we played and laughed and talked, we captured beautiful family images. I got to take photos of each kiddo with their momma and daddy, along with images altogether and some time with just mom and dad! I had the assistance of Poppy helping me with the camera, Ivy being a big helper with Caden, and mom and dad watching the chaos and love in front of them. It was a beautiful session.
These five are one of the amazing military clients that I have come to know and adore in Colorado. Calvert family, I am so pleased to know you.
I had a wonderful evening with your darling family, I hope we can see each other again sometime.
