I typically do not share sneak peeks with a blog post, but I couldn’t resist with it being family. Aaron is my husband’s brother, so Jessi is another sister for me! These two got married back in 2011, and have not had photos together since. Enter me…YES. I got to spend time in the first nice day we have had in Illinois since our arrival, sunny and 70 was the perfect day.
Grandparents were the MVP’s watching the kiddos while we had adult only evening. I will be doing a family session with their boys, Logan & Landon in September while we vacation in Colorado. This was special to just get to focus on the two of them and their love!
They both looked great, and we were so glad to have Jessi’s dress arrive mere hours before the shoot. I love the color on her along with against the beautiful blooms.
We started at the University of Illinois campus at a beautiful magnolia tree and then made our way over to the Japan House. Our solitude at the magnolia tree was a great way to start out the evening. I think all three of us were a bit shocked about the crowds at the Japan House. It was a beautiful evening filled with gorgeous trees, everyone was out enjoying. We were able to find a few places to escape the crowds. Regardless, we made it work and made beautiful portraits.
Take a peek and enjoy these of Aaron & Jessi.
I had such a great evening with these two and loved chasing the light while documenting their love. Thank you so much Aaron & Jessi!
