I met Kila and Paul this afternoon in Breckenridge. Today was a beautiful late fall day here in Colorado, a little bit breezy, but not too cold! We have a winter storm starting tonight and tomorrow, so we definitely got lucky! We went to a secret spot with their officiant Gretchen, and I was able to witness the two of them pledge their life and love to one another.
I love weddings, there is no secret about that. This year of Covid-19 has put a damper on a lot of plans, but it cannot and will not stop people from sharing their love. It was my absolute pleasure to be a part of today’s ceremony.
Kila wore an AMAZING gown that showcased her adorable tiny bump, and she was breathtaking! Their first look was so sweet. Paul’s reaction was absolute perfection. The bouquet was from Bloom Flower Shop in Breckenridge and it was gorgeous.
The two of them wrote their own vows to make the ceremony even more personal and emotional. I also wrote my vows when I got married, so I always love this special touch.
Kila reached out to me a few weeks ago inquiring about elopement photography and I am so thankful that she did. We met today and talked like old friends, they are both so kind and caring! I love when clients walk in as strangers and leave like friends. It is so important to connect with the person you’re working with.
The ceremony was quick and quiet, just the four adults and the little girl in her momma’s belly. I cannot wait to watch their future unfold. They are having a reception next year in Tennesee, and they will have a family of three by then! I can’t wait to hear all about it.
Congratulations Kila & Paul, I was so thankful to be able to capture this amazing day in your life!
I am so excited for you both. Congratulations!
