On Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of working with the Williams family. We met in Longmont and it was WARM. But they were total troopers (especially momma) and we got through the session with amazing portraits.
Felicia found me through our online photography community. It has been great at connecting me to other photographers in our area. And holy moly is Felicia a good one!
Felicia, Kyle, Ben & Aila met up with me at a scenic location with all the gorgeous places to take photos. Thank goodness they are so patient, because I could have kept them all night! Felicia selected the location and I was SO thankful for her input! We spent the evening in and out of golden light or overcast. It didn’t take away from their beautiful portraits though.
We had fun collecting grassfetti with Ben & Aila, I strive to enjoy time letting them be kids! They played drums with sticks, had stick races, saw field mice, snake skin, and TONS of fire ants.
Felicia sprained her ankle a week prior to our session, which is why we had pushed it back from our original date. She was AMAZING with walking all over as I led her places, squatting down when I asked her to, and even twirling. Her ankle looked so uncomfortable, but she didn’t complain once! Kyle was great too! Dads aren’t always thrilled for their session. But he did everything I asked and never dropped his smile!
The evening was so fun, and it was my absolute pleasure spending the remaining golden hours together. I will let the images speak for themselves. There were so many amazing portraits, I had a hard time choosing my favorites!
Williams Family, thank you so much for letting me be a part of this chapter in your life! Good luck on starting school back up Ben & Aiya!
